La storia del Black Jack

Il Black Jack è uno dei giochi da casino più amati al mondo, e ciò per diversi motivi; forse per le sue regole intuitive, forse perchè matematicamente prevedibile, o forse per le somme abbondanti che si possono vincere in una sola mano.

La storia del Black Jack affonda le sue radici nella Francia del Settecento, dove il gioco sembra essere nato come una variante del Baccarat francese, prendendo il nome di “Vinght-et-Un”, che significa “ventuno” in italiano, ovviamente per il fatto che per vincere era necessario raggiungere con le carte la somma stessa. Si susseguivano diverse mani fino a che un giocatore fortunato non riusciva ad ottenere l’ambita somma e a guadagnarsi quindi le puntate di tutti gli altri. Intorno al 1800 il Ventuno arriva anche negli Stati Uniti d’America, dove assume il nome col quale tutti lo conosciamo e che lo ha reso famoso: Black Jack, ossia “Fante Nero”. Sembra che siano stati i soldati americani, alleati dei francesi, a portare il Black Jack in America, affascinati da un gioco del tutto nuovo e appassionante.
